Surah al-Inshiqaq (The Bursting Asunder)
Surah Inshiqaq has 25 ayat, which was revealed in Makkah. The Holy Prophet (S) has said that the one who recites this Surah will not get his book of deeds from his back on the Day of Reckoning.
If written and worn by a pregnant woman, the baby’s delivery becomes easy. However, it is important that after delivery, this Surah should be kept away from her. If this Surah is tied on any animal (eg, camels or horses), it keeps them safe.
Surah Inshiqaq For Normal Delivery
i) Whoso recites this surah, his record of deeds would not be used against him.
ii) If this surah is written on paper and put around the neck of a pregnant woman as a tawez, she would deliver the child easily without delay. Still, as soon as the child comes out the tawez should be removed at once because this surah would take out everything from her inside.
iii)If this surah is written on paper and hung as a tawez for the protection of cattle, it would remain safe from all calamities; if it is hung on the wall of a house, it will remain safe from wild animals.
(i) جو اس سورت کو پڑھے گا اس کا نامہ اعمال اس کے خلاف استعمال نہیں ہوگا۔
ii) اگر اس سورت کو کاغذ پر لکھ کر حاملہ عورت کے گلے میں بطور تعویز ڈال دیا جائے تو وہ بغیر کسی تاخیر کے آسانی سے بچے کو جنم دے گی۔ لیکن جیسے ہی بچہ باہر آئے توز کو فوراً ہٹا دینا چاہیے کیونکہ یہ سورت اس کے اندر سے سب کچھ نکال دے گی۔
iii) اگر اس سورت کو کاغذ پر لکھا جائے اور مویشیوں کی حفاظت کے لیے بطور تاویز لٹکا دیا جائے تو یہ تمام آفات سے محفوظ رہے گی۔ اگر اسے گھر کی دیوار پر لٹکا دیا جائے تو وہ جنگلی جانوروں سے محفوظ رہے گا۔

Reward of reciting Surah Inshiqaq
1. Imam as-Sadiq (a.s.) said: Whoever recites both these Surahs, al-Infitar and al-Inshiqaq, in his obligatory and recommended prayers, there will be no impediment in his affair reaching Allah on the Day of Judgment, and no stopper will stop him. Allah will look at him with mercy until the reckoning of the people is over.
2. The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.s.) said: Whoever recites Surah Inshiqaq, Allah would save him from the position that his deed record is thrown behind his back.
