6 Kalma Importance With Transliteration

The 6 Kalma are six brief statements of the fundamental beliefs of Islam. They serve as a declaration of faith and a mechanism for expressing fundamental beliefs for Muslims. Reciting the Kalima is considered essential to the faith and practice of a Muslim. That is why all Muslims attach great importance to the word. And it is recited again and again in our daily life.

Each word emphasizes different aspects of Islamic beliefs. Below are the six words explained in their translation. The Kalima, including the oneness of Allah, describes and explains the acceptance of Muhammad’s prophethood and the guidance provided in the Quran.

لَآ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللّٰهُ مُحَمَّدٌ رَّسُوْلُ اللّٰهِ ؕ

سُبْحَانَ اللّٰهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ وَلَآ اِلٰهَ اِلَّااللّٰهُ وَاللّٰهُ اَكْبَرُ ؕ وَلَآ حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ اِلَّا بِاللّٰهِ الْعَلِىِّ الْعَظِيْم ؕ

Glory be to Allah and all praise be to Allah, there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and Allah is the Greatest. There is no might or power except from Allah, the Exalted, the Great One.

3 Kalma In Hindi

सुब्हानल्लाही वल हम्दु लिल्लाहि वला इलाहा इलल्लाहु वल्लाहु अकबर वला हौल वला कुव्वता इल्ला बिल्लाहिल अलिय्यील अज़ीम 

لَآ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللّٰهُ وَحْدَهٗ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهٗ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ يُحْىٖ وَيُمِيْتُ وَهُوَ حَئٌّ لَّا يَمُوْتُ اَبَدًا اَبَدًاؕ ذُوالْجَلَالِ وَالْاِكْرَامِؕ بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرُ وَهُوَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِیْرٌ ؕ

4 Kalma in Hindi

ला इलाह इल्लल्लाहु वह्दहु ला शरीक लहू लहुल मुल्कू व लहुल हम्दु युहयी व युमीतु वहुवा हय्युल ला यमूतु अबदन अबदा ज़ूल जलालि वल इकराम बियदिहि-हिल खैर वहुवा अला कुल्ली शैइन क़दीर

I seek forgiveness from Allah, who is my Creator and Cheriser, from every sin I committed knowingly or unknowingly, secretly or openly. I also seek His forgiveness for all sins which I am aware of or am not aware of. Certainly, You (O Allah!), are the Knower of the hidden and the Concealer of mistakes and the Forgiver of sins. And there is no power and no strength except  Allah, the Highest, the Greatest.

5 Kalma In Hindi

अस्तग़फिरुल्लाहा रब्बी मिन कुल्ली ज़म्बिन अज्नब्तुहू अमदन अव खता अन सिर्रन अव अलानियतन व अतूबू इलैह मिनज़ ज़म्बिल लज़ी आलमु व मिनज़ ज़म्बिल लज़ी ला आलमु इन्नका अंता अल्लामुल गूयूबी व सत्तारिल उयूबी व गफ्फारिज़ ज़ुनूबी वला हौला वला क़ुव्वता इल्ला बिल्लाहिल अलिय्यिल अज़ीम | ”

اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنّىِ اَعُوْذُبِكَ مِنْ اَنْ اُشْرِكَ بِكَ شَيْئًا وَّاَنَآ اَعْلَمُ بِهٖ وَاَسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِمَا لَآ اَعْلَمُ بِهٖ تُبْتُ عَنْهُ وَتَبَرَّأْتُ مِنَ الْكُفْرِ وَالشِّرْكِ وَالْكِذْبِ وَالْغِيْبَةِ وَالْبِدْعَةِ  وَالنَّمِيْمَةِ وَالْفَوَاحِشِ وَالْبُهْتَانِ وَالْمَعَاصِىْ  كُلِّهَا وَاَسْلَمْتُ وَاَقُوْلُ لَآ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللّٰهُ مُحَمَّدٌ رَّسُوْلُ اللّٰهِ ؕ

Allaa-humma Inneee A’udhu-bika Min An Ushrika Bika Shay-awn Wa-ana A’lamu Bihee Wa- astaghfiruka Limaa Laaa A’lamu Bihee Tubtu ‘Anhu Wata-barraatu Mina-l Kufri Wash-shirki Wal-kidhbi Wal-gheebati Wal-bid’ati Wan-nameemati Wal-fawahishi Wal-buhtaani Wal-m’aasi Kulli-haa Wa-Aslamtu Wa-aqoolu Laaa Ilaaha Illa-llaahu Muhammadu-r Rasoolu-llah.

Six Kalma In English

O, Allah! I seek refuge in You from that I should ascribe any partner with You knowingly. I seek Your forgiveness for the sin of which I have no knowledge. I repent from it. And becoming disgusted by disbelief and idolatry, lying and backbiting, innovation and slander, lewdness and abomination, and all other acts of disobedience, I submit to Your will. I believe and declare that there is none worthy of worship except Allah and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.

6 Kalma In Hindi

अल्लाहुम्मा इन्नी ऊज़ुबिका मिन अन उशरिका बिका शय अव व अना आलमु बिही व अस्ताग्फिरुका लिमा ला आलमु बिही तुब्तु अन्हु व तबर्रअतू मिनल कुफरी वश शिरकी वल किज्बी वल गीबती वल बिदअति वन नमीमति वल फवाहिशी वल बुहतानी वल मआसी कुल्लिहा व अस्लमतु व अकूलू ला इलाहा इल्ललाहू मुहम्मदुर रसूलुल लाह |”

The 6 Kalimas are not directly mentioned in the Quran as revealed statements. Instead, they are formulations derived from various verses of the Quran and Hadith (sayings and actions of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him).
